St. Louis, Missouri-based Express Scripts Inc. and Indianapolis-based WellPoint Inc., have entered into an agreement, by virtue of which Express Script will acquire the latter's NextRx subsidiary for a deal value worth $4.675 billion. Depending on the transaction structure, the deal value will also include consideration for future tax benefits for the acquirer.
